Wax Injection Nights temp to Perm

Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit-Production Operatives-in their-Wax Production department-to assist in the manufacturing, finishing and testing of their products.-

Main Duties

• Processing parts in accordance with production schedules
• Preparing and testing the ceramic slurry mix
• Loading, operating and unloading the robotic wax injection machine to manufacture ceramic shell moulds. Hand dipping moulds where appropriate
• Removing wax from the ceramic moulds utilising a boilerclave
• Quality checking products and updating records
• Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
• Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing warehouse/production environment
• A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills
• You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting
• Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided

Hours

46 hours a week. Monday-Thursday 18.00-0600*

*Please be aware you will be required to work the day shift (Apply online only) until fully trained, for a week or two- A 15% night shift premium will be added once fully trained and working the night shift.
