Waterjet OperatorLocation: BirminghamSalary: CompetitiveVacancy Type: PermanentMcGeoch Technology Ltd. is a well-established and expanding manufacturing company based in Birmingham and due to their current projected growth, we are now looking to recruit for the position of Waterjet Operator.Key Responsibilities Set up and operate water jet and laser cutting machines.Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.Monitor machine performance and make routine adjustments where required.Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.Carry out quality inspections using measuring equipment to ensure products meet specification.Identify defects or production issues and report them promptly.Complete production records and maintain accurate documentation.Carry out routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance checks.Ensure materials are correctly identified and handled.Work to production schedules and meet daily output targets.Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.Follow all Health and Safety procedures and company policies.
