Waterjet CNC Operator

We are looking to recruit a CNC Waterjet Operator for our manufacturing client based in Barnsley (S72).

In this role, you will be trained to set up and operate Waterjet cutting equipment & cut brick slips into arch set outs.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop specialised skills and grow within a dynamic production environment.-

Pay Rate:
Starting at -12.71 & rising to -15 per hour after 12 weeks probationary period.

Main duties

• Operate the waterjet machine
• Cut brick slips into arch set outs
• Report any maintenance issues and record all required information correctly in the computer system.
• Handle all materials carefully to prevent damage or safety risks, following Health & Safety rules and company handling procedures.
• Follow all Health & Safety regulations at all times to ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues, and visitors.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Experience using waterjet or laser machines
• Good understanding of how to handle materials safely and follow Health & Safety rules.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and hardworking
