Water Treatment Technician / EngineerLocation: Reading-based, covering Cambridge, London and areas across the South Salary: £37,000 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Mobile Requirements: Relevant water treatment experience, full UK driving licence and successful DBS check The Role We are recruiting an experienced Water Treatment Technician / Engineer for a mobile position covering a wide geographical area, based from Reading and travelling to commercial client sites across Cambridge, London and the surrounding southern regions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced water treatment professional with a strong background in water hygiene, Legionella control, planned preventative maintenance and remedial works. You will be responsible for delivering water hygiene and treatment services across multiple sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with relevant regulations and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits across multiple client sites. Complete temperature monitoring, water sampling and showerhead descales. Inspect, clean and disinfect cold water storage tanks and cooling towers. Service and test thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs). Carry out closed-loop water testing, chemical dosing and analysis. Undertake steam boiler testing, water softener servicing and disinfection.
