We are recruiting for a switched-on and driven Water Treatment Sales / Account Manager to oversee contracts across the South East of England. You will be overseeing existing client accounts, ensuring they are serviced to a high standard, in addition to winning new business. It is essential that applicants hold excellent technical knowledge and a proven success rate within the industry. The role is within a well-regarded and busy Water Treatment company, who have a nationwide presence. Experience / Qualifications:
- Successful track record as a Water Treatment Sales / Account Manager within a Water Treatment specialist outfit
- Exemplary technical knowledge, including: ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- It would be beneficial to hold a degree relating to chemistry / sciences / environmental sectors
- Proven sales accomplishments
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good IT, literacy and numeracy skills
- Professional manner
The Role:
- Overseeing the successful servicing of existing client contracts whilst actively growing the business portfolio
- Being a key point of contact for clients, providing technical support and answering any queries
- Actively seeking new business leads and taking steps to on-board new clients
- Utilising a range of sales techniques, such as: advertising and cold-calling
- Meeting with clients to outline their contractual needs
- Conducting risk assessments on site prior to projects commencing
- Renewing of existing client contracts
- Contacting clients to upsell further services and make technical recommendations
- Keeping records of sales and contract performance
- Ensuring contracts are serviced to a high standard and in line with agreed deadlines
