Water Network Repair & Maintenance Operative

Location: Sheffield
Contract Length: 12-18 months
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Essential skills & experience:

• Previous experience excavating in the public highway, with a strong focus on safety

• Experience in maintenance and repair of underground assets (or similar)

• Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Full UK driving licence

Desirable qualifications/experience:

• Water industry experience and/or training

• EUSR Hygiene Card

• NRSWA Street Works accreditation

• Mains and service laying training

• Mini digger qualification

• Deep excavation/trench support training
