An exciting opportunity to join a prestigious Water Hygiene / Water Treatment specialist has arisen in the Yorkshire region. Due to continued business growth, our client is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Water Hygiene / Water Treatment Operations Manager to oversee regional contracts and teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong work history of managing engineers and office teams in a positive and proactive manner. You will be joining a respected name, who have a national presence and diverse portfolio of client contracts. It is essential for applicants to have robust technical knowledge and effective communication skills. Experience / Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager within a Water Hygiene / Water Treatment outfit
- Able to confidently lead teams of site and office staff
- Ideally will hold industry-related qualifications / training
- Robust technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Proficient in using IT software
The Role:
- Overseeing regional operations across Water Hygiene and Water Treatment contracts
- Managing a team of engineers, ensuring works are completed within agreed scope and timeframes
- Carrying out competency checks and training across all internal staff
- Liaising with the administrative team to coordinate projects, ensure materials are ordered and assist with onboarding processes
- Meeting with clients to discuss contractural performance and handle any enquiries
- Ensuring effective planning and work allocation
- Organising training for team members
- Working closely with the quality / technical team to investigate and resolve any safety issues
- Running regular company meetings
- Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
- Upselling of further company services
- Completing regular technical service and progress reports
