Due to continued business growth, our client is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Water Hygiene / Water Treatment Operations Manager to oversee regional contracts and teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong work history of managing engineers and office teams in a positive and proactive manner. Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Operations Manager within a Water Hygiene / Water Treatment outfit
• Able to confidently lead teams of site and office staff
• Ideally will hold industry-related qualifications / training
• Robust technical knowledge, including: HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Proficient in using IT software

The Role:

• Overseeing regional operations across Water Hygiene and Water Treatment contracts
• Managing a team of engineers, ensuring works are completed within agreed scope and timeframes
• Carrying out competency checks and training across all internal staff
• Liaising with the administrative team to coordinate projects, ensure materials are ordered and assist with onboarding processes
• Meeting with clients to discuss contractural performance and handle any enquiries
• Ensuring effective planning and work allocation
• Organising training for team members
• Working closely with the quality / technical team to investigate and resolve any safety issues
• Running regular company meetings
• Maintaining strong working relationships with clients
• Upselling of further company services
• Completing regular technical service and progress reports
