Water Hygiene Technician

Salary: 30 - 40kpa(DOE) + Vehicle Location: Midlands-based ideally (Providing National coverage) Due to hiring timescales, sponsorship is unavailable for this opportunity. A well-established UK specialist consultancy headquartered in the West Midlands, providing comprehensive water hygiene and Legionella control services across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. The organization operates as a Tier 1 provider, specializing in regulatory compliance and technical water treatment infrastructure. Core ResponsibilitiesSystem Disinfection: Comprehensive cleaning and chlorination of domestic water systems and cooling towers.Plant Maintenance: Inspection, descaling, and servicing of calorifiers and associated plant.Monitoring and Testing: Temperature profiling and TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valve) fail-safe testing and servicing.Specialist Servicing: Carrying out basic system maintenance and, ideally, Closed Management System Treatment (CMST) or clean and close system specialisms.Technical EssentialsIndustry Knowledge: Practical experience in water system cleaning, chlorination, and TMV servicing.Compliance: Ability to record accurate data for site logbooks in line with ACoP L8 guidelines.Desirable: Experience in CMST or similar closed-loop system specialisms.Mobility: Full UK Driving License.
