Water Hygiene Technician

We are looking for a reliable and motivated PPM Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks across a range of commercial and industrial sites nationwide.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong maintenance background who is confident working independently, takes pride in high standards of work, and is willing to travel throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled PPM tasks in line with company and client requirements
• Water hygiene monitoring (temperature checks, flushing, inspections)
• TMV servicing and basic maintenance
• Tank inspections and condition reporting
• Basic plumbing repairs and minor remedial works
• Asset inspections and compliance checks
• Accurate completion of service reports and compliance documentation
• Identifying and reporting non-compliances or remedial requirements
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety on site
• Representing the company professionally when dealing with clients

Essential Requirements

• Experience in PPM, facilities maintenance, or water hygiene
• Basic plumbing knowledge and practical experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away when required

Desirable Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (advantageous)
• Water Hygiene / Legionella Awareness Training
• TMV servicing experience
• Experience within commercial, healthcare, or industrial environments
