      <description>Location: London | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Job Role: Water Hygiene - Remedial Engineer Role Purpose  We are seeking a skilled and experienced Water Hygiene Remedial Engineer to join our CBRE team dedicated to the UCLH (University College London Hospitals) estate. You will be a vital part of our water safety infrastructure, specifically tasked with identifying and executing corrective actions to eliminate Legionella and Pseudomonas hazards. In this role, you will transition from routine monitoring to technical resolution, performing the critical mechanical and physical works required to ensure our water systems remain compliant with HTM 04-01 and safe for all patients, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities  Targeted Remediation: Execute site-wide remedial works identified by the compliance team to address positive Legionella and Pseudomonas results.Perform physical interventions, including the modification of pipework to eliminate "dead legs," installation/replacement of thermostatic mixing valves (TMVs), and removal of redundant pipework.Conduct targeted thermal disinfection (thermal shock) and assist in chemical disinfection/chlorination processes of water systems to neutralise contamination.System Integrity and Improv...</description>
