A successful name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry is recruiting in the South East of England. They are seeking a reliable Water Hygiene Engineer, who can confidently perform a range of pre-planned maintenance duties. You will be working in and around the M25, servicing a mixed portfolio of commercial, public sector and local authority premises. Our client is well-known for their fantastic further training opportunities, including into Legionella Risk Assessing and Plumbing. Experience / Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer
• Good working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• Ideally will have industry-related training / qualifications
• Flexibility to travel within the role
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Proficient in using IT software

The Role:

• Showerhead disinfections
• Flushing on little used outlets
• Inspections, cleans and chlorinations of cold water storage tanks
• TMV servicing and failsafe checks
• Calorifier blowdowns
• Water sampling
• Temperature monitoring
• Updating site logbooks
• Adhering to set schedules and deadlines
