Salary/Benefits: -27k - -36k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a respected name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry, who have a busy client base in the South East of England. They are recruiting for an experienced and reliable Water Hygiene Engineer to join their friendly and professional team. On a daily basis, you will be conducting pre-planned compliance duties, including: showerhead descales, basic outlet flushing, tank cleans and sampling/monitoring. Our client is known for investing in their engineers, with excellent training and development schemes. The successful candidate can expect competitive salaries and benefits packages, including overtime opportunities.

Locations of work include: Gravesend, Dartford, Erith, Sidcup, Bromley, Orpington, Croydon, Sevenoaks, Snodland, Chatham, Rainham, Sittingbourne, Maidstone, Royal Tunbridge Wells, East Grinstead, Crawley, Epsom, Sutton, Mitcham, Kingston upon Thames, Twickenham, Grays, Tilbury, Barking, Ilford, Romford, Hornchurch.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
• Conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Experience using a PDA to complete reports
• Able to work independently on site
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Hardworking attitude

The Role:

• Showerhead descales
• TMV servicing and failsafe checks
• Flushing on little used outlets
• Acid descales
• Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
• Updating site logbooks and producing regular service reports
• Working to agreed project timescales
• Maintaining high levels of customer service
