About the RoleMy client based in the North East is looking for a Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This field-based role offers flexibility in location across the region, with the successful candidate travelling regularly to client sites throughout the area.This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive engineer to join a well-respected business delivering water hygiene, closed-system treatment, and compliance services to customers across a diverse range of commercial and industrial environmentsThe successful candidate will work autonomously across multiple customer sites, carrying out a combination of water hygiene, water treatment, monitoring, servicing, and remedial activities. Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out water hygiene duties in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG274 guidanceComplete temperature monitoring and water sampling programmesConduct tank inspections, cleaning, chlorination, and disinfection of water systemsUndertake showerhead descales, disinfections, and TMV testing and servicingPerform calorifier inspections and pasteurisation worksCarry out closed-system analytical testing, sampling, dosing, and remediation activitiesComplete closed-system analysis and recommend corrective actions where requiredAssist with pre-commission cleaning and flushing of systemsInstall, service, and maintain chlorine dioxide dosing equipmentSupport water treatment projects and remedial works across customer sitesAccurately complete service ..... full job details .....
