The role involves diagnosing leaks and completing repairs, renewals and installations of domestic and commercial water supply pipes. You will attend both planned and reactive jobs, working independently and as part of a team to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality work. You will be responsible for assessing faults, determining the most appropriate repair method and completing all associated excavation, backfilling and surface reinstatement. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and locate leaks on domestic and commercial water supply systems. Use leak-detection equipment, CAT and Genny equipment, and pipe locators. Locate, excavate and repair leaking or damaged water supply pipes. Carry out water service pipe renewals and new installations. Use trenchless installation techniques, including moling and pipe bursting. Complete groundworks, including excavation, backfilling and compaction.
