Water Efficiency Operative (Plumber''s mate)

Aqua-Tech Recruitment are currently looking for a Water Efficiency Operative (or plumber''s mate) to join a new water-efficiency project across Essex and Suffolk. This is a practical, field-based role where you will visit our existing commercial customers, including large supermarket chains, bars, gyms and other establishments, to help identify opportunities to reduce water consumption. You''ll be visiting customer premises and checking areas such as sinks, taps, toilets and urinals to assess how efficiently water is being used. Where a simple improvement can be made, you''ll be trained to install water-saving devices yourself. Where a job requires a qualified plumber, you''ll identify the issue and report it to the plumbing team. You don''t need to be a qualified plumber for this role as full training will be provided. We''re looking for someone practical, reliable and confident dealing with customers who is happy working independently. What You''ll Be Doing Travelling to customer sites across Essex and Suffolk using a company vehicle. Working independently and managing your own daily workload. Visiting a wide range of commercial premises, including supermarkets, bars, gyms and other customer locations. Checking taps, sinks, toilets and urinals to identify opportunities to improve water efficiency. Carrying out basic water audits and recording your findings.
