Wastewater Pump Engineer

REED Engineering & Manufacturing are working with a fast engineering company.

• The ideal candidate should have a good electrical skillset/knowledge - possible future opportunities for training. That been said, role will involve other aspects such as lifting pumps/mechanical works e.g replacing PVC pipework. We are looking to grow the electrical department which in turn will mean more installation work prior to our existing works
• Work is primarily on Sewage Pump Stations & Sewage Treatment Plants, meaning the work is mainly outside and can be dirty. Other works vary from Cold Water Booster sets all the way to Zoo Pond pumps.
• Remotely based working from home but depo allocation is at York - trips will be kept to a minimum but will be asked to travel to the York office regularly to collect/drop of parts and undertake in-house training
• Work area/location will be kept ''Northern'' as much as possible, but we are a national company and cover the whole UK so on occasion may travel a little further.
• Mixture of lone work and paired works depending upon the job requirements.
• Call out rota of 1 in 4 is currently in operation. This is 24/7.
• Specialist tools to carry out works will be provided.

The role also includes a woks van within the position.
