Job Title: Waste Operative & Forklift Truck Operator - CBRE @ Reckitt

Location: Reckitt Manufacturing site, Hull - Dansom Lane.

Shift: Night shifts - 5 nights a week, between 22:00 - 06:00 - Will include weekends

About the Role:

CBRE is seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Truck Operator to join our facilities management team at the Reckitt manufacturing plant in Hull. This is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the site, supporting Reckitt''s production processes. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials, equipment, and waste throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift truck safely and efficiently, adhering to all CBRE and Reckitt site safety regulations and procedures.

  • Transport and move production materials, plant equipment, and waste materials to designated locations within the site.

  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate and safe handling of goods.

  • Meticulously follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all tasks.

  • Conduct pre-operational checks on the forklift to ensure it is in safe working order.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

  • Work collaboratively with other CBRE team members and Reckitt personnel.

  • Report any and all safety concerns immediately.

Requirements:

  • Essential: Valid and current forklift truck license

  • Essential: Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.


  • Essential: Strong understanding and commitment to workplace safety.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.
