What you''ll be doing in this role: Responsible for day to day operational delivery of services to include refuse collection, commercial waste collection, kerb-side recycling collection, street cleansing, bulky collection, deliveries, public conveniences and other cleaning. Schedule the ongoing workload of the Service, allocate work, monitor and report on progress maximising service efficiencies. Implement service requirements with an emphasis on the delivery of quality services within prescribed budgetary constraints. Continually review and implement all statutory and legislative requirements in accordance with good governance and safety requirements. Contribute to development of the technical functions of the Waste Service, including Fleet Management, Waste Collection, recycling and disposal and liaise with other officers in this regard.
