This position is key to maintaining the sites and contributing to the benefit of the people of Leicestershire. Day to day of the role: Operate loading shovel and plant, including loading vehicles and managing waste. Engage with internal and external site users, maintaining positive and cooperative working relationships. Ensure activities are delivered efficiently and effectively. Receive deliveries, check records for compliance, and operate safely on site. Maintain accurate and current paper-based and electronic records. Use equipment and systems, including the weighbridge, to ensure site safety and efficiency. Operate telehandler and baler (once trained) to load/unload products on site. • Sort, clean, compact, or shred waste as required using various equipment.
