Waste Coordinator with FLT

Job Title: Waste Coordinator (FLT) Location: Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire Pay rate: 15.00 per hour Working hours : 6.30am-3pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week) Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Role Overview We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated Waste Coordinator to manage waste operations on a single-person site, which is a prestigious automotive engineering site. This role requires strong communication skills, confidence dealing with customers, IT competency, and hands-on operational ability. The successful candidate will be responsible for both physical waste handling and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of the site. Key Responsibilities Operational Duties Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move waste materials safely and efficiently Perform manual handling tasks as required Operate a compactor and vertical baler to process waste materials Maintain a clean and safe work environment in line with site standards Administration and Coordination Complete IT-based administrative work (data entry, reporting, waste tracking, etc.) Book waste collections with suppliers via email and phone Liaise daily with the customer to ensure operational needs are met and any issues are resolved Customer Interaction Act as the main point of contact on-site Provide clear communication and professional support to the client Report operational updates, challenges and achievements Ideal Skills and Experience Strong communication ..... full job details .....
