As a Waste Collector, you will play a vital role in maintaining clean and sustainable communities by ensuring the efficient collection and disposal of waste materials.ResponsibilitiesCollect waste and recyclable materials from residential, commercial, and public locations following established routes and schedules.Operate waste collection vehicles and equipment safely and responsibly.Sort and separate waste according to company and environmental guidelines to promote recycling and reduce landfill use.Report any hazards or issues encountered during collection, including damaged bins or safety concerns.Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment.Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and uphold safety standards.Engage with community members respectfully and professionally, promoting awareness of proper waste disposal practices.QualificationsPrevious experience as a Waste Operative or in a related role is preferred but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided.Ability to operate waste collection vehicles or willingness to obtain relevant licenses.Physical fitness and stamina to manage manual handling tasks safely.Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a ..... full job details .....
