This is a key frontline role responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality waste collection and street scene services across the borough.Working closely with the Depot Operations Manager, you will supervise operational teams, ensure daily services are delivered efficiently, and maintain high standards of safety, performance, and customer service.About the RoleYou will be responsible for the daily supervision and coordination of operational teams, ensuring waste collection and street cleansing services run smoothly and efficiently.The role includes managing frontline staff, responding to service enquiries and complaints, monitoring health and safety standards, and supporting the operational management of the depot.You will supervise approximately:19 Class 2 HGV Drivers15 Waste Collection Loaders23 Street Cleansing OperativesKey ResponsibilitiesDirect daily supervision of waste and street cleansing teamsEnsure all operational services are delivered on schedule and to a high standardManage and investigate service requests, complaints, and enquiriesMonitor health and safety compliance, identifying risks and addressing unsafe practicesAssist with staff training, development, and performance managementCoordinate with the Transport Manager to ensure ..... full job details .....
