About the Role
This Warehouse/Storekeeper position in Southampton supports daily plant operations and production within a manufacturing setting, offered by Expert Employment on an initial six-month contract. Duties include material handling, packaging, stock control and maintaining a clean, safe, organised workplace in line with company procedures and health and safety requirements. The role suits someone with prior experience in warehousing, stock control, chemical packaging or similar work, though this is advantageous rather than essential. Forklift experience is desirable; full training is provided. Good numeracy and literacy, strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team are needed. Pay is £12 to £14 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions carefully.
Support other operational activities as required.
Requirements
Previous experience in warehousing, material handling, stock control, chemical packaging or a similar environment would be advantageous.
Previous forklift experience is desirable, although full forklift training will be provided.
Good numeracy and literacy skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to follow procedures and safety instructions.
Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn.
