Warehouse/FLT DriverLocation: Highbridge, Somerset Hours: Monday to Friday - Days and AfternoonsPay: £13.50 per hour Contract Type: Full-time Temp-to-PermRole OverviewAs Warehouse and Forklift Operator you will play a critical role in our clients operations: ensuring the smooth movement, storage and dispatch of raw materials and finished product in the warehouse. You ll operate forklifts safely, maintain stock accuracy, assist in loading/unloading deliveries and help keep the warehouse environment organised and compliant with food-safety and health and safety standards.Key Responsibilities Safely operate forklift trucks (reach, counter-balance) to move, stack and retrieve materials. Load and unload delivery vehicles, checking documentation and condition of goods. Receive incoming goods, verify quantities, inspect for damage and log into warehouse system. Pick, pack and prepare outbound orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and quality. Maintain clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment (housekeeping, waste disposal, hazard reporting). Support stock-takes and cycle counts; assist with stock reconciliation and resolving discrepancies. Collaborate with production, quality and logistics teams to meet daily schedules and targets. Adhere to food hygiene, quality and safety policies (including GMP, hygiene zones, PPE).
