Warehouse Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This position requires physical stamina and a keen attention to detail to maintain high standards of quality control. Duties Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling at all times. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively. Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, storing, and retrieving items as needed. Engage in shipping and receiving activities, preparing items for dispatch and verifying incoming shipments. Conduct quality control checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before dispatch. Participate in picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently for delivery. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Operate forklifts safely when required, ensuring compliance with operational guidelines. Skills Previous experience in a warehouse setting is highly desirable. Proficient in heavy lifting techniques to handle bulky items safely. Familiarity with warehouse management systems for efficient inventory tracking. Strong skills in materials handling practices to ensure safe movement of goods.
