Location: Leicester
Salary: £13.29 per hour (£29,105 per annum)
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (2 Days / 2 Nights / 4 Rest Days)
Hours: 6:00am – 6:00pm / 6:00pm – 6:00am

The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business looking to appoint an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to support the day-to-day running of their warehouse operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous warehouse leadership experience who enjoys leading from the front, developing teams and ensuring the smooth movement of goods within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily operational targets.
- Plan and coordinate warehouse activities across both day and night shifts.
- Ensure all goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor team performance, productivity and attendance.
- Support training and development of new and existing team members.
- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and housekeeping.
- Ensure stock accuracy through regular checks and inventory control.
- Liaise with production, planning and transport teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
- Complete shift handovers and maintain accurate operational records.
- Promote continuous improvement throughout the warehouse operation.
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor or Senior Warehouse Operative.
- Experience working within a manufacturing, FMCG, food production or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Good understanding of warehouse processes and stock control.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining high standards.
- Good IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) would be advantageous.
- FLT Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience working within a KPI-driven environment.
