Warehouse Team Leader

W Talent is delighted to be working with a well-established manufacturing organisation located in Pixton, Nottinghamshire who is seeking a new Warehouse Team Leader to join the team. This is a key role within the dispatch function, responsible for delivering high levels of customer satisfaction while ensuring operational efficiency across the business.The RoleAs the Warehouse Team Leader based at the Pinxton Manufacturing site you will report directly to the Warehouse Manager supporting the smooth running of daily warehouse operations. You will lead by example and ensure the quality and accuracy of deliveries, while maintaining excellent customer service standards. You will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to fulfil all aspects of the role, ensuring operational targets, safety standards, and service levels are consistently achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise a small team of warehouse employees, including a team leader, across two sites.Promote and maintain a positive working culture where colleagues are treated with dignity and respect.Maintain and update the shift log daily to ensure accurate records of colleague working hours.Respond effectively to changing priorities and tight deadlines within the warehouse team.Determine staffing levels and allocate workloads accordingly.Conduct return-to-work interviews, ensure absence reporting procedures are followed, and identify absence triggers.Pick orders using a forklift truck or powered pallet truck.Load and unload ..... full job details .....
