Warehouse Team Leader

W Talent are working with a large, well-established manufacturing and distribution business based in Ripley, Derbyshire who are now looking to recruit a Warehouse Team Leader. Working Monday to Thursday, 6:30am-5:00pm and Fridays, 7:30am-4:00pm, you will lead, manage and support a dedicated warehouse team ensuring operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The Role As the new Warehouse Team Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the warehouse, supervising a team, while maintaining high standards, and ensuring targets are achieved. You will lead by example, promoting teamwork, safety, and operational excellence across all areas of the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: Supervise warehouse staff in line with company policies and procedures. Provide day-to-day direction and oversight of warehouse operations. Communicate effectively with management and other departments on operational issues. Monitor performance and quality to ensure company standards are maintained. Lead by example and promote a positive, team-focused working culture. Coordinate warehouse activities and projects to ensure deadlines are met.
