Warehouse Team Leader

Team Leader Required!

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Team Leader (s) to work at our esteemed client on Raynesway in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an innovative company.

Shifts Available:

Monday - Friday

• Weekly rotating shifts: 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00

Pay rate: -16.04 ph

Responsibilities of the Team Leader (s):

• Plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of the warehouse operatives, providing effective communication, leadership, succession planning, motivation, training and development
• Manage and own all elements of the admin, stock and systems processes, being the point of contact for issues, and finding resolutions
• Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job, participate in appropriate training activities
• Monitor, motivate, and evaluate Warehouse Operatives performances to ensure customer expectations are being achieved / exceeded
• Developing, monitoring, and controlling key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Execute the daily work plan by adjusting the workflow to meet goals, by conducting daily briefs

Requirements of the Team Leader (s):

• Experience of working within a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Be a natural leader, able to coach others to drive and implement change
• Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation
• Experience of MS Office & Outlook, Word, Excel
• Previous supervisory experience within a similar environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of the end-to-end warehouse processes and health and safety, IOSH is highly desirable
