Warehouse Team Leader

Are you an experienced warehouse or logistics professional ready to take the next step in your career? We re looking for a proactive and organised Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the daily despatch operations at our busy Aylesham site. Working closely with your counterpart on the opposite shift, you ll lead a small team to ensure orders are picked, checked, and dispatched accurately and efficiently meeting deadlines without compromising quality or safety. What You ll Be Doing Coordinating shift start-up procedures and briefing the team on daily targets Unlocking and carrying out pre-start equipment checks Leading the team to deliver against daily work plans and KPIs Overseeing order picking and loading/unloading operations Ensuring full compliance with stock management systems and processes Maintaining high standards of accuracy, health and safety, and customer service Liaising with the transport and despatch office to ensure smooth logistics operations Supporting training, development, and performance of team members What We re Looking For Experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment Strong leadership and resource planning skills Excellent attention to detail and communication abilities Good working knowledge of health and safety legislation Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines A forklift licence (Reach or Counterbalance) essential GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths essential A logistics qualification (e.g. ..... full job details .....
