Warehouse Team Leader (Temporary)Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour as an Umbrella Contractor / £22.00 per hour PAYELocation: Bethnal Green, East LondonJob Type: Temporary (3-6 months initially, with potential for permanent placement)Working Hours: 9-5 Monday to Friday We are currently seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Warehouse Team Leader to join our team on a temporary basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. This position is based in Beckton and is crucial for ensuring the effective management of our warehouse operations, which support a variety of community services provided by the local authority.Day-to-day of the role:Manage a team of 6-7 staff, ensuring high performance and staff engagement.Oversee the warehouse operations including ordering, receiving, and managing stock.Ensure the warehouse remains compliant with Health and Safety regulations, maintaining a safe environment for both staff and service users.Develop and maintain positive relationships with commissioners, prescribers, and other health and social care partners.Coordinate facilities management functions (specific to the local authority).Support contract mobilisation and strive for continuous improvement in all processes.Required Skills and Qualifications:Proven experience in leading and motivating a team within a warehouse setting.Strong commitment to health and safety standards.Excellent client relationship and staff performance management skills.Empathy and understanding towards ..... full job details .....
