A Warehouse Team Leader is required to join a busy operation in Derby. This full-time, hands-on position involves overseeing daily warehouse activities and leading a small team to meet productivity targets. The role includes allocating tasks, monitoring performance, ensuring health and safety compliance, and supporting loading, unloading, and stock movement. Key skills required are previous experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role, the ability to problem solve, and strong team management. The working pattern is 08:00 to 16:00 with a 30-minute unpaid break. The salary is £16 per hour, with ongoing work and competitive pay offered. This is a permanent contract.

Warehouse Team Leader
We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our busy warehouse operation. This is a hands-on role, supporting day-to-day warehouse activities while leading a small team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Working Hours:
08:00 – 16:00
30-minute unpaid break
Key Responsibilities:

Leading and supporting a team of warehouse operatives
Overseeing daily warehouse activities to ensure productivity targets are met
Allocating tasks and monitoring performance
Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Supporting loading, unloading, and stock movement where required
Assisting with general warehouse duties and problem solving on shift

Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role
Ideally hold a valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence or be willing to be trained
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to lead by example and motivate a team
Reliable, proactive, and able to work under pressure
