As the Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective and efficient running of our clients warehousing function. You will provide direction to warehouse operatives and promote safe operating procedures aligned with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:


* Maintain shift levels by managing annual leave and sickness cover.
* Delegate duties to warehouse operatives and support personnel to meet production targets.
* Communicate production targets and any operational changes clearly to your team.
* Record and maintain shift records and relevant documentation for accurate tracking.
* Oversee health, safety, and environmental practises for designated shifts.

What We''re Looking For:


* Supervisory Experience: Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
* Communication Skills: Ability to engage with all levels of staff, both internally and externally.
* PC Literacy: Comfortable using computers for documentation and reporting.
* FLT licence: Counterbalance and Reach Truck certified, with Order Picker training.
* Health & Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with workplace safety practises and accident reporting.
* Stock Management: Experience in carrying out stock-taking activities.

Key Activities Include:


* Liaising with the Warehouse Manager and Shift Supervisor regarding targets and operational changes.
* Conducting pre-usage checks on equipment and maintaining relevant logs.
* Moving and locating products to appropriate locations, including stock and vehicles.
* Assisting in ongoing training and process improvements.
* Conducting investigations into accidents and safety breaches.
