Warehouse Supervisor

SourceCo are looking for an experienced chilled warehouse supervisor for a well-established food manufacturing business based in Tewkesbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse leadership experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

PLEASE NOT THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE SOME WEEKEND WORK

The Role:

As Chilled Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the chilled warehouse and yard, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality service.

Salary:

• -40,900 per annum (45 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, motivate, train, and support warehouse and yard staff
• Ensure safe working practices and company procedures are followed
• Monitor chilled warehouse conditions and ensure products are stored correctly
• Work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and management teams to resolve issues
• Maintain accurate warehouse paperwork and records
• Complete daily stock checks and ensure correct stock rotation
• Ensure customer orders are accurate and dispatched to a high standard
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Check vehicle refrigeration systems are operating correctly
• Support loading and unloading operations to maintain efficient turnaround times
• Provide cover during holidays, sickness, and busy periods
• Deputise for the Warehouse Manager when required

About You:

• Previous experience supervising or leading a warehouse team
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Ability to motivate and support team members
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Organised with the ability to work to deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns

Desirable:

• Forklift Truck (FLT) licence and experience (training available for the right candidate)
• Experience within chilled, food, FMCG, or temperature-controlled environments
