Warehouse Supervisor

My client are seeking a friendly, positive Warehouse Supervisor to join their small, friendly team on a permanent basis. The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the efficient, safe, and accurate operation of the warehouse and inventory functions. This role ensures that goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched in line with company policies, legal requirements, and performance targets, while leading and developing a high-performing warehouse team. Duties will include: Manage all warehouse and inventory control activities in line with company policies, vision, and operational standards.Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and maintenance operations. Design, maintain, and improve warehouse layout to maximise space utilisation and operational efficiency. Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to achieve a minimum of 98% picking and packing accuracy. Ensure weekly stock counts by product range or warehouse area are completed accurately and reconciled against system records. Investigate inventory variances, implement corrective actions, and maintain stock loss below 1% of annual cost of sales. Review and maintain an effective process for returned stock to ensure timely and accurate processing and crediting.
