Warehouse Supervisor- Oldham

Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for a new opportunity with a leading UK manufacturer based in Oldham?

If so, we are looking for your skills to contribute to the successful running of the warehouse operations as well as being accountable for our Warehouse Team Leaders and the wider team.

You will be working 07:30 - 16:00 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 - 15:00 on Fridays.

We''ll rely on you to facilitate a seamless flow of Raw Material and Finished Goods from goods-in to dispatch.

You''ll promote safety, efficiency, and accuracy within your team, stock control, and systems. In this role as Warehouse Supervisor you will:

• Be accountable for the activities of our Warehouse Team Leaders including team briefings, investigations, recruitment, and training plans
• Reach pre-defined objectives in compliance with our Safety and Environmental Standards, such as risk assessments and the receiving in and storing goods
• Manage cost control including labour, overtime, & forklift truck costs
• Ensure accurate stock management in adherence with dispatch schedules
• Responsible for the maintenance within the warehouse and goods inwards

Requirements for the role are:

• Experience in WMS systems
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Warehouse leadership role
• Ability to sustain and develop team working and team based problem solving
• Possess the ability to lead and motivate a team of people
• Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality
• Computer literate with good numeric skills
