Warehouse SupervisorLocation: Newark (NG22)Salary: £16.82 per hourHours: 8.30am - 17.30pm - Monday to Friday Temporary ongoing role with the potential to become permanent after 12 successful weeksThe Role We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead a busy warehouse operation, ensuring productivity, safety, quality and service standards are consistently achieved. This role requires someone who can motivate a team, manage daily warehouse activities and support operational performance while maintaining high standards of compliance. A Reach Truck License with experience would be preferred. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support a small team of warehouse operatives across daily operations.Allocate workloads and monitor productivity to ensure customer deadlines are met.Lead by example, working alongside the team when required.Operate FLT safely and efficiently.Carry out goods-in, goods-out and stock movement activities.Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management.Conduct daily team briefings and communicate operational priorities.Monitor attendance, performance and timekeeping.Provide coaching, training and support to new and existing employees.Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed at all times.Complete accident, incident and near-miss reporting where required.Liaise with Warehouse Management regarding staffing levels, workflow and operational issues.Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce ..... full job details .....
