Warehouse Supervisor

We are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy shipping and logistics operation. This is a hands-on role, responsible for supervising the day-to-day warehouse activities, coordinating freight movements, overseeing container loading, and ensuring all cargo is handled safely and efficiently.Working closely with the Warehouse Manager and Operations team, you will lead a warehouse team, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:Supervise the daily warehouse operation, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.Lead and support warehouse staff, providing guidance and maintaining high performance standards.Check incoming and outgoing freight against shipping documentation.Ensure cargo is inspected, measured, weighed, labelled, and prepared for export.Coordinate LCL freight consolidation and ensure cargo is correctly segregated.Supervise container loading, ensuring safe loading practices and maximum container utilisation.Carry out final checks before containers are sealed and dispatched.Maintain accurate warehouse records and update warehouse management systems.Investigate freight discrepancies, damages, and operational issues.Ensure high standards of housekeeping, health and safety, and compliance are maintained.Liaise with customers and drivers during freight deliveries and collections.RequirementsPrevious experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Senior Warehouse Operative, or Team Leader within a logistics, ..... full job details .....
