Our client is UK''s leading distributor in their sector.- Operating from the Head Office in Deeside, the-site runs 24/7-to support next-day delivery, moving significant volumes daily across a workforce of more than 500 employees.

They are seeking a confident and performance-driven Shift Manager to lead the late shift operation. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for delivering a safe, efficient and customer-focused warehouse operation across designated buildings. You will lead from the front, driving productivity, developing large teams and ensuring operational excellence at every level.

The Role

Reporting to Operations Management, you will:

• Take ownership of shift performance, productivity and service levels
• Champion Health & Safety standards across your operation
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of 40+ warehouse operative and Team Leaders
• Drive efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage resource planning to ensure maximum utilisation
• Investigate errors, identify root causes and implement corrective action
• Conduct operational and H&S audits to maintain compliance
• Produce and present data-driven reports to senior management
• Deputise for Operations Management when required

About You

• Successful candidate will need proven experience leading a large team in a fast-paced pick / pack warehouse distribution environment
• A deputy Shift Manager looking for their next step up may also be considered if from a large pick / pack operation-
• Strong operational and commercial awareness
• Results-driven, resilient and decisive under pressure
• Excellent planning, organisational and analytical skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
• Passionate about developing people and improving performance
