About the Role We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our growing team. This role involves handling inbound and outbound cargo, primarily books, ensuring shipments are processed efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, good physical fitness, and a solid understanding of warehouse operations and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive and inspect incoming book packages and pallets, verifying quantities and checking condition.Accurately record goods using the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including receipting, put-away, and picking.Prepare and process outbound shipments: pick, pack, label, wrap, and stow cargo for dispatch.Operate forklifts and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) where licensed (e.g., Counterbalance, Reach Truck, PPT).Load and unload lorries and containers safely and efficiently.Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards within the warehouse environment.Ensure correct use of PPE and adhere ..... full job details .....
