The role involves carefully checking returned props, identifying and reporting any damage, and ensuring that all items are returned to their correct locations within the warehouse. The Warehouse Porter will also maintain a general oversight of the warehouse and provide support to other teams as required. Key Responsibilities and Tasks Check client orders and accurately prepare and pack hired props for collection. Unload, unpack and inspect returned items, identifying and reporting any damage or missing items. Complete damage reports accurately following appropriate training. Return all items to their correct warehouse locations, ensuring they are displayed neatly and appropriately. Code, label and organise items as required. Check the condition and functionality of working parts to ensure they are operating correctly. Liaise with sales staff and the Loss & Damages Department to report and resolve damaged or faulty items.
