Role Purpose
The Planner will provide accurate and timely administrative support to the Warehouse team, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with both colleagues and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage customer orders in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Dispatch orders and close out job files (including POD and other required documents).
- Run and produce reports for customers and management.
- Maintain accurate filing and archiving of paperwork.
- Update shared files and carry out system checks.
- Support stocktaking activities when required.
- Input vehicle arrivals for customers and collate information for charge reports.
- Update KPIs and other business performance records.
- Escalate any issues, queries, accidents, or incidents in line with company procedures.
- Maintain general office housekeeping and assist with ad hoc tasks as instructed.
- Attend training sessions for new processes and procedures.

- Accuracy and timeliness of data entered into systems.
- Jobs closed promptly and correctly.
- Effective reporting and escalation of issues.
- Compliance with processes and housekeeping standards.
Working Hours & Environment
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30.
- Based in a busy office within a large warehouse environment.

- Maintain high standards of personal and workplace safety.
- Ensure colleagues and contractors also comply with H&S procedures.
Person Specification
Qualifications & Experience
- Computer literate – confident using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), email, and databases.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment.
- Previous experience in a similar administrative or planning role (preferred).

- Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.
- Self-motivated and reliable with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
