Warehouse Picker Packer

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Picker is responsible for accurately selecting, handling, and preparing products for dispatch within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This includes picking orders, wrapping products securely, and ensuring all items are ready for shipment in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick products accurately according to order lists or picking instructions
• Wrap and prepare goods securely for dispatch to prevent damage during transit
• Ensure all orders are completed within required timeframes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Conduct basic quality checks on products before dispatch
• Assist with stock control and report any discrepancies
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Support general warehouse duties as required

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous warehouse or picking/packing experience (preferred but not essential)
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Physically fit and able to lift and move goods
• Basic understanding of health and safety in a warehouse setting
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment with manual handling involved
• Standing and moving for extended periods
• Use of equipment such as pallet trucks or wrapping machines (training provided if required)

Additional Information
