Warehouse and Logistics ManagerBasildonMonday - Friday (37.5 hours pw) £45,000 - £50,000The Warehouse and Logsitics Manager will oversee all operations performance across two freight forwarding warehouse faciliites. Responsible for ensuring efficient cargo handling, compliant documentation and seemless coordiantion between warehouse, transport and customs functions.Requiring a strategic and commercially minded leader with strong international freight process knowledge and able to work in a fast paced environment.Responsibilities:Lead warehouse and logistics across two faciliites ensuring consistent service levels, SOPs and complianceProvide hands-on operational support during peak timesOversea recieving, breakdown, storage and dispatch or air, sea and road freight cargoEnsure correct handling (general cargo, hazardous goods, temperature controlled)maintain compliance with aviation security and indsutry specific regulations (IATA, HMRC, CAA) Monitor KPIs Manage inbound and Outbound transport planning including haulage scheduling, carrier relationships and last-mile deliveryOptimise freight costsOversea stock accuracy Lead and develop the warehouse and Logistics teamManage staffing levels, shift patterns, training and performance reviewsYour ExperienceProven exprience in warehouse or logistics management within Freight forwardingKnowledge of IATA, CAA, HMRC and other regulatory frameworksAbility to use a WMS/ERP SystemMUST HAVE 5 YEARS EMPLOYMENT WITH NO GAPS due to CAA ..... full job details .....
