Based in Gloucester, the Warehouse Operator - Heavy Goods Vehic position is offered through Expert Employment on a temporary contract, paying between 15 and 18 per annum. Working hours typically follow a shift pattern covering days or rotating earlies and lates. Core tasks include picking, packing and preparing orders, ensuring correct labelling and documentation, plus moving stock with forklifts, pallet jacks or reach trucks. Candidates need a valid C1 licence and CPC, alongside prior warehouse and truck driving experience. Knowledge of inventory management, logistics processes and routine equipment checks is essential. Warehouse Operator Duties
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment. Ensure accurate and on-time order fulfilment, including proper labelling and documentation.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or reach trucks, to safely handle and move materials. Follow equipment operating procedures and conduct routine maintenance checks.
Qualifications
Valid driver`s license C1, CPC
Previous experience in warehouse operations and truck driving is preferred.
Knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management, and logistics.
Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts
