Warehouse and Packing OperativeSalary: 32,000 per annumLocation: EdinburghDepartment: OperationsShifts: Rotating Early, Back and Night ShiftsWorking Pattern: Monday to Friday (24/5 operation)About the RoleWe are looking for reliable, hardworking and multi-skilled Warehouse and Packing Operatives to join our client''s busy operations team in Edinburgh.Following investment in modern automated packing machinery, the business is expanding its team to support its warehouse and packing operations. This is a hands-on, varied role involving operating packing equipment, picking orders, handling stock and loading vehicles.You will play an important part in ensuring products are packed safely, accurately and efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, quality and housekeeping.Shift PatternsDepending on the role, you will work rotating shifts:Early Shift: 06:00-14:00Back Shift: 14:00-22:00Night Shift: 22:00-06:00Key ResponsibilitiesOperate automated packing machinery safely and efficiently, handling products weighing between 0.5kg and 25kg.Pick customer orders accurately and prepare goods for dispatch.Load vehicles and support the smooth running of warehouse operations.Follow all Health and Safety procedures and food safety requirements.Operate materials handling equipment (MHE) safely and in line with company procedures and legislation.Maintain accurate paperwork, documentation and stock records.Ensure stock is rotated correctly and stored appropriately.Monitor ..... full job details .....
