Warehouse Operator and Forklift Driver Location: Duxford, Cambridgeshire Salary: £30,000 £33,000 (including shift allowance) Hours: Full Time 40 hours/week Monday Friday Rotating Shifts: 6am 2pm / 2pm 10pm Interview Dates: Starting Friday 24th October The Opportunity A leading global manufacturer is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operator and Forklift Driver to join their fast-paced, safety-focused distribution site in Duxford. This role is vital to ensuring efficient and accurate handling of raw materials and finished goods across production and packing operations. Key Responsibilities Safely unload and store raw materials to minimise damage and optimise warehouse space Pick and deliver raw materials and packaging according to production schedules Collect and put away finished products Operate forklift trucks and palletisers accurately and safely (% of role) Complete cycle counts to maintain accurate stock records and minimise production risk Ensure timely execution of the dispatch plan to meet on-time delivery targets Maintain a clean, well-organised warehouse environment in line with 5S principles Take part in daily team briefings and support continuous improvement initiatives What We''re Looking For A valid forklift licence (Counterbalance, Reach or VNA) Previous warehouse experience (chemical sector experience beneficial) Benefits Financial: £14.52 £15.24 per hour (including shift allowance) Overtime paid at 2x on Saturdays, 2.5x on Sundays 12% ..... full job details .....
