Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9:00am to 6:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks, increasing to £12.90 per hour thereafter

The Role

Westray Recruitment is looking for reliable Warehouse Operatives to support a busy operation during the Christmas period.

You will carefully pack finished products into boxes, ensuring they are secure, correctly labelled and ready to be shipped directly to customers. This is a hands-on role that involves standing at a workbench for most of the shift and helping to organise outgoing deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Packing finished goods safely and accurately into boxes
• Checking products before dispatch
• Ensuring orders are correctly packaged and labelled
• Organising outgoing deliveries
• Preparing completed orders for shipment to customers
• Handling products carefully to prevent damage
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised workstation
• Following warehouse procedures and health and safety guidelines
• Supporting colleagues during busy periods

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual and committed
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Is comfortable standing at a workbench throughout the shift
• Can work efficiently in a busy environment
• Takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
• Is organised and able to follow instructions
• Works well independently and as part of a team
• Has previous warehouse, packing or dispatch experience, although this is not essential

What’s on Offer

• £12.71 per hour for the first 12 weeks
• Pay increase to £12.90 per hour after 12 weeks
• Temporary work during the busy Christmas period
• Monday to Friday
• Consistent hours from 9:00am to 6:00pm
