Warehouse Operatives

We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Stores Person to join our busy team in Crawley.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the stores operation. You will help ensure goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately, while maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, check and book in deliveries accurately.
  
  
• Load and unload goods safely.
  
  
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch.
  
  
• Issue parts, materials and equipment to internal teams.
  
  
• Maintain accurate stock records and complete regular stock checks.
  
  
• Investigate and report any stock discrepancies or damaged items.
  
  
• Organise stock and ensure all items are correctly labelled and stored.
  
  
• Monitor stock levels and notify the relevant person when replenishment is required.
  
  
• Complete goods-in, goods-out and delivery paperwork.
  
  
• Keep the warehouse and stores area clean, tidy and organised.
  
  
• Follow all health and safety, manual-handling and company procedures.
  
  
• Support the wider warehouse and logistics team when required.
  
  

About youThe successful candidate will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or stock-control environment.
  
  
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail.
  
  
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
  
• A reliable, positive and hardworking attitude.
  
  
• Good communication skills.
  
  
• The ability to carry out physical duties, including lifting and moving stock.
  
  
• Basic computer skills for updating stock systems and completing records.
  
  
• A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
