As a Parcel Sorter Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for sorting, scanning, and loading parcels within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your role is crucial in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of packages, contributing to the overall efficiency of the distribution center. You''ll need to be physically fit, detail-oriented, and capable of working effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Sort parcels based on destination and delivery routes.
Scan and label packages using handheld devices.
Load and unload parcels from delivery vehicles.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
Report any damaged or mislabeled packages.
Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift and carry packages of varying weights.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
